**Welcome to the digital platform of CANNESERIES Season 03! **

Our third edition will begin on October 9 and will last until October 15.

**How to create an account to watch series ? **

You have not created an account yet Click on “Create Account” on the top right of the page and follow instructions.

**You already have created an account ? **

Sign in with your usual username and password.

**What happens if I forget my password ? **

Simply click Forgot your password on the Sign In page, enter the email address you used when you created an account and a link to reset your password will be sent to you.

CANNESERIES Program:

**I want to discover the festival’s program. **

You can browse through the different selections (Short Form Competition/ Long Form Competition / Out of Competition) via drop-down menus.

**When will I be able to watch series? **

The Long Form and Out of Competition series will be available online at the same time as their Cannes screenings. Each show will be available for 24 hours within the limit of 2 308 seats. The Short Form series will be available from October 9 to 15.

**I can’t watch the series because it is not available in my country.

The availability of each show is subjected to the requests of the rights owners.

**Why does video playback stall or not play smoothly ? **

If your internet connection is poor or inconsistent you may experience problems during playback.

Watching shows

**How to create a watchlist ? **

To create a personal watchlist, click on “Add to my list” on the chosen series page. To access that list, click on “My list” in the drop-down menu on the top right, under your username.

**What’s the difference between “My List” and “My Library” ? **

Shows you add to your list won’t be booked for. It is mandatory to book your ticket for each screening. You will then find them in your library, accessible through the drop-down menu on the top right under your username.

**I can’t visualize the “Play” button to watch a show. **

Long Form and Out of Competition series online are only available for 24 hours from their scheduled screening time in Cannes, and within the limit of 2 308 viewings based on a first come first served principle. The “Play” button won’t be showing out of these 24 hours of availability. Some series are subjected to geographical restrictions.

**How to put subtitles on? **

The series are available in their original versions with optional French and English subtitles. These optional subtitles must be turned on manually. To choose subtitles, click on the CC button in the lower right corner of the player and select the language you need among the available options.

It is possible that the CC button isn’t available automatically on a tablet player. If you encounter this problem, it should be fixed by closing the full-screen mode.

**Can I start watching a show and finish it later ? **

Yes. When you start watching a show, you may pause and finish watching it later until the end of the availability period. You can find the series in your library of access it via the series page. You can also use the backward or forward buttons, pause the show or close the platform and then sign in later to finish watching. Pausing, closing and starting a viewing won’t extend the 24 hours availability period.

Watching devices

**What to do if the message « Too many devices » appears ? **

Screen devices will register automatically as you use them. You may have up to two devices registered on your account but may only stream from one at a time. Devices can be removed in the My Devices section of your account.

**How do I add to “My Devices” and is there a limit ? **

When you sign in on a device it is automatically registered to “My Devices.” You can edit or remove registered devices by clicking your name and selecting “My Devices” in the drop-down menu. Users may have up to 2 registered devices.

**What devices can I Chromecast from ? **

You can Chromecast from a Chrome web browser on PC and Mac computers as well as Android devices.

**Can I watch content on my iPhoneiPad ? **

Yes, you can watch content using Safari and this requires iOS 11.2 or later. We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.

**Can I watch content on my Android Device ? **

Yes, you can watch content using Chrome and this requires Android 6.0 or later. We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.

**What are the system requirements ? **

You can watch on PCs running Windows 7+, and Intel-based Macs running OSX 10.12+. You can also watch on Android tablets and phones using Chrome and on iPhones and iPads using Safari. You will need a broadband or fibre internet connection - dial up will not work.

**What are the requirements for Windows computers ? **

Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.
Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer or Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.
Internet Explorer on Windows 7 is no longer supported.
You will need a broadband or fibre internet connection - dial up will not work.

**What are the requirements for Mac computers ? **

Mac OSX 10.12 or later.
Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.

**I can’t stream any of the content, what’s going on ? **

Check your minimum system requirements above. We recommend that you update to the latest version of your browser.
We use adaptive bitrate streaming which means the streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. For High Definition (HD) streaming we recommend VDSL, cable or fibre connections as we cannot guarantee consistent HD streaming on ADSL.
